Look Slimmer Today: 3 Tips
If it helps you feel better on the way towards your goals, who cares? So without further ado, here are 3 quick ways to look slimmer today:


#1) Stand Up Straight

Yes, we know, our mothers always told us to stand up straight. But it can actually help you to look slimmer. Pretend there's a string attached to the top of your head. Walk and move as if this string is pulling you upright. This will help you stand up straighter and look pounds thinner.

If you don't believe me, just do the mirror test. Walk normally past a mirror wearing a form fitting outfit. Then walk by the same mirror standing up as straight as possible. You WILL see a difference and people will automatically assume you are pounds thinner.


#2) Play Up Your Assets

We all have parts of our bodies that are - well - less than perfect. If you feel your behind is too large or your hips are a little too wide, draw the eye away from those areas by playing up your assets.

Perhaps you have beautiful arms - wear a blouse with uniquely cut and draped arms to make people focus on this area. Maybe you have Cyd Charisse legs - try a brightly colored skirt with a slit up the side.

If you absolutely cannot find anything about your body that you like, at least draw the eye away from problem areas by wearing beautiful, sparkling earrings or even a brightly colored broach.

Bonus Tip: If you really want people to think you're slimmer, prettier and all around more lovable: Focus on them. Ask them questions, find out what's going on in their lives, what they like and don't like, etc.

By focusing on other people and listening to them, you are helping to make their lives better. They'll automatically think you're a great person to be around because you make them feel good!


Final Note: Although in our world it probably seems otherwise, just remember that the way you look is not the most important thing. It really is what's inside that counts: your courage, sense of humor, character and love for others will be remembered long after your weight is forgotten.
